“…If I can’t see you, I can’t control you. If I can’t see you, how do I know you’re working?
Many believe that they are not getting the value or the productivity out of their employees if they are not in the office. What this thinking shows is that employers don’t have any trust in their employees. Many subscribe to the old holdout that culture is made by forcing people to sit next to their colleagues in an actual office. Except that isn’t how culture is created. Shared vision, not shared spaces, creates a culture. It is about instilling a sense of belonging for your employees and ensuring that they identify with the greater mission and the values of the company.
Culture can be created without an office.”
