It is very important to YOUR CHURCH that confidential information is protected. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Compensation Information
- Member and Attendee Lists
- Member Preferences
- Financial/Giving Information
- Premature Communication of Possible Changes, Events, Plans, etc.
Every church staff member is asked to sign a Nondisclosure Agreement annually, on or near January 1st, as a condition of employment. Volunteers, contractors, etc. are asked to review and re-sign a Nondisclosure Agreement as needed to ensure they are adequately aware of their responsibility relative to YOUR CHURCH’s nondisclosure policy.
Improper use or disclosure of confidential information may result in corrective action up to and including termination of employment. This applies even if a staff member does not receive any benefit from the release of such information.
Questions about what information should be considered to be confidential should be directed to the Executive Pastor.
