YOUR CHURCH is an at will employer. For the purposes of this policy, at will describes the relationship between the staff member and the church as voluntary; a staff member is free to resign their employment with the church at any time, with or without cause. And, the church is free to end the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause.
The policies contained herein should not be construed to constitute contractual obligations of any kind or a contract of employment between the church and any staff member. The provisions in this Staff Policy Manual have been developed at the discretion of the church’s Executive Staff and, except for the policy of employment-at-will, may be amended or cancelled at any time, at the sole discretion of the church.
These provisions replace all other existing policies and practices and may not be changed or added to without written approval from the Executive Pastor.
