When it comes to a very important part of building a strong infrastructure in the church, the Policy, a documented “statement of position” or other definition of norm or principle, must exist. Policies should be written in such a way as to be useful in helping the church understand the important positions it has established for various aspects of the “business.” Policies should, however, be “guidelines” and not necessarily be “rigid” or “hard and fast” as to allow for leadership decision making as unanticipated specific circumstances arise.
Here’s a list of links to all the Policies available to you here on Executive Pastor Online. Feel free to use anything here as you work to state positions, norms, and/or principles in your church!
