The staff member and their ministry area leader are encouraged to regularly discuss job performance, goals, and expectations. In addition, the staff member and their ministry area leader will conduct formal performance evaluations to discuss job performance, goals, and expectations, identifying areas of strength and areas in need of improvement. Performance evaluations are usually done every 12 months around the beginning of the calendar year. (Download a Staff Member Feedback Form HERE.)
Depending on the financial condition of the church, YOUR CHURCH may give merit-based pay adjustments to some staff members in recognition of good performance. These adjustments are based on a number of factors, including the information documented during performance evaluations.
