Executive Pastor Online

Strategy, method, and analysis for church leaders.

Archive >> April 2008

We’re here! I spent most of the morning today and part of the afternoon setting up the Executive Pastor Online booth. It looks great!

It took a little “last minute” onsite adjustment and equipment allocation, but I think we’re good to go. The booth has a 6’ x 8’ banner at the back with 2 round tables (kiosks) on either side with flat screen monitors displaying the website. Each of the two kiosks is equipped with a wireless mouse, allowing people to point and click around on the site.

I spoke to a bunch of church leaders today, and the main session of the conference isn’t until tomorrow. Interest is good. Of course, our booth having the best candy of any other booth in our area doesn’t hurt. People love to stop by the booth to get a couple of pieces of candy! Tomorrow will be great. We’ll be ready to share the site with hundreds of church leaders.

I’ll let you know how it goes.

You can’t beat an iPod and Neil Young at 40,000 feet! A little “groggy” I’m writing this blog post from my seat (19C) on Air Tran flight 625 in route to Orlando to attend this year’s National New Church Conference. I’ve attended every year, and I think this conference is one of the highlights of the year … especially over the last couple of years. There will be 2,500+ in attendance which, I think, is the biggest year ever for the conference. This year is kind of special for me. Executive Pastor Online will have a booth at the conference, and I will be spending a bunch of time talking to church leaders about this new resource, formally launching this week. I look forward to presenting the site and getting feedback from those for whom this resource was designed. I hope we have labored to provide something that is unique and very useful for churches working hard to build the infrastructure needed to grow. I also look forward to talking to Executive Pastors who have yet to check out the site. I will be asking them to get involved as “associates,” providing content and making themselves available for church leaders needing the expertise an Executive Pastor can provide any church. If you are planning to attend the conference this year, stop by and introduce yourself. Click on the logo below to check out the site ...
